S H O P P I N G
Ok.. Saturday my co-ordinator took me to Korat - big city over two hours with car from us. Both of us asked my hostfather, and he was really positive and like "just take him with you, it will be cool" attiude. We went to this gigantic shopping center, we ate sushi and I bought a bunch of DVDs, gifts, sports equipment, shoe, and candy! I spent 3 times as much as I had put up of my budget, according to my co-ordinator almost as much as a rice farmer makes in a year. My suitcase is now filled with my stuff, and locked, to keep my sneaky family away.. Seriously they look through all of my stuff, My room doesn't look like I leave it in the morning. Anyway... I didn' t sleep a second saturday evening, I got home like 23 or something from Korat, and watched films until eight o clock in the morning. My 11 year old hostbrother knockes on the door "see father" he says. I go to the "father" that's sitting watching TV. He get's angry and says quoting " you are easy to go away with anybody" And " I had to work hard yesterday at the seminar, with no one to help me" I got really angry.. first of all: He said clearly twice that it was cool that my co-ordinator drove me to Korat, second: I have spent three saturdays at his seminars, he has needed my help about one minute each weekend. the rest seven hours I just sat there and was bored! and my hostfather was angry because I don't speak to his 11yr old son, I have been trying to speak to the kid, he just looks an other way and doesn't even TRY to communicate back to me. And then he says with a rising voice, quoting "why do you come here??" me:" What?" "Why do you come here??" and he says that I have to do things for them and I'm like "What do you want me to do?" Hostfather, quoting " Yes". Like a former AFS student asked "Is he a total retard?" Then, as a topping on the cake he says "You have any clothes to wash?" I'm like yeah I have.. him: "You have to wash it yourself, we don't do everything for you!" I was really pissed then, what the fu(k was he thinking I would do, wait ti'll they get washed by themselves?? I had planned to wash them, but maybe not all people prefer to wake up at 8 am on sunday to wash clothes. I had planned to do it around noon.
He asked if I had any plans for the day, I said that I was going to the cambodian border with Pann and Al, but they'd call me to tell what time I would leave. He was angry and said the part of " you go easy away with anybody" and "I allow until now, I say Ok, but in the future I can stop you from going anywhere." My stomach hurts as I am writing this.. The guy has such bad energy, and his eyes were just sending out "evil evil evil". I washed my clothes by hand , took me about 3 hours, and my hands were all f..kd up from the washing powder. I was really pissed at him, and went crazy on my clothes infront of my 16 year old hostbrother. I just smiled to them.. well.. I just ditched 4 classes today, two of them so I can sit at the computer room.. btw. a girl from germany that was AFS student in thailand 2004/2005 is here.. she is really nice and helpful. and cool :) Benjamin
